Important Product Recall: In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), MGA Entertainment issued a voluntary recall of unused MGA’s Miniverse Make It Mini products that contain a resin used to assemble the products. These include “Make It Mini Appliances,” all models and series of “Make It Mini Food”, and “Make It Mini Lifestyle.” This voluntary recall is only for products that are unused as once the resin has been cured and hardened, the chemicals in question become inert and pose no risk.

Hazard: The recalled Make It Mini Sets contain resins that when in liquid form can cause skin, eye and respiratory irritation or sensitization when inhaled, touched, or ingested by children or adults. After the resins cure, they no longer present these hazards. These resins contain acrylates (hydroxyethylmethacrylate or “HEMA” and isobornyl acrylate or “IBOA”) in amounts that, per CPSC, are prohibited in children’s products by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. MGA Entertainment received only 26 consumer reported incidents regarding resin irritation out of 21 million units sold (.000013%) and all the incidents have been non-serious and temporary.

Hazard: Through their rigorous and ongoing quality-inspection program, Vitamix has identified a potential safety issue. It is possible that the container may separate from the blade base, exposing the blades and posing a laceration hazard. Note that the operation and performance of the blender’s motor or base are not affected by this issue, nor are your 48-ounce and 64-ounce containers.

Important Product Recall -Homedics HHP-715 Recall
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, FKA Distributing Co. LLC. d/b/a Homedics has voluntarily recalled certain Therapist Select Percussion Massagers, Model No. HHP-715. A sticker on the underside of the product’s barrel includes a date code. Only date codes ending in 20, 21, or 22 are subject to the recall (the “Affected Product”).

The throws and blankets sold at macys.com are Berkshire Blanket branded and were sold between August 2022 through October 2023. The throws measure about 50 inches wide and 60 inches long and are made of polyester. The blankets are sized to fit twin-, full/queen- and king-sized beds and are made of polyester. The heated throws and blankets are controlled by a white cord with a white digital controller unit. The model numbers are on a white label on the back of the throws and blankets and on the back side of the controller unit. The Berkshire Blanket logo and tracker numbers are printed on the wash label affixed to the throws and blankets.
