Product: “Hello Kitty” Zip Up Hoodie Sweatshirts sold from November 2008 through December 2008.

Hazard: The sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines (which were incorporated into an industry voluntary standard in 1997) to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets or sweatshirts.

Contigo Recalls 5.7 Million Kids Water Bottles Due to Choking Hazard




Recall Date : August 27, 2019



Product : Contigo Kids Cleanable Water Bottles



Hazard : The water bottle's clear silicone spout can detach, posing a choking hazard to children.



Description : The base and cover of the clear silicone spout will always be BLACK. Only black color spout base and spout cover models are included in this recall. "Contigo" is printed on the rim and along the front near the bottom of the bottle. The water bottles come in three sizes (13oz., 14oz., and 20oz.) and four bottle colors (solid color, graphics, stainless stell, and stainless steel solid colors). The water bottles were sold individually as well as in two-packs and three-packs.



Remedy : Immediately stop using the recalled water bottles, take them away from children, and contact Contigo for inspection instructions and a free replacement lid.







Graco recalls a car seat due to a harness webbing that is not compliant to federal standards



Recall Date : May 25, 2017



Product : Graco My Ride 65 car seat



Hazard : In cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Graco has announced the recall of certain Graco My Ride 65 car seats for harness webbing that is not compliant to federal standards.



Description : The affected car sets will have a harness webbing tag numbered "2014/06" and have one of the following model numbers: 1794334, 1813015, 1813074, 1853478, 1871689, 1872691, 1877535, 1908152



Remedy : Please visit Graco's website or call Graco Consumer Services at 1-800-345-4109 to be issued a replacement harness kit. You may continue to use the car seat until you receive the replacement harness kit.




Britax recalls stroller due to potential fall hazard

Product : Britax B-Agile and BOB Motion Strollers with Click & Go receivers



Hazard : A damaged receiver mount on the stroller can cause the car seat to disengage and fall unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard to infants in the car seat.



Description : This recall involves Britax B-Agile and BOB Motion strollers (when used as a travel system with a car seat carrier attached). All models are folding, single or double occupant strollers and have Click & Go receiver mounts that attach the car seat carrier to the stroller frame. All colors of the stroller are included. The model number can be found on the inside of the stroller’s metal frame near the right rear wheel for single strollers and in the front middle underside of the frame on double strollers. Remedy : Consumers should immediately stop using their Click & Go receiver mounts and contact Britax for a free repair kit for single strollers.  Owners of the recalled double strollers should stop using them with car seats attached. The Luv Betsey, LC Lauren Conrad, and other private label Universal Rechargeable Power Banks, which are compatible with smart phones and tablets and come in a variety of colors and shapes.

The potentially affected products were manufactured beginning in October 2016 and distributed to retailers between November 2016 and December 2018. The products listed below were sold at Macy's stores and Macy's Backstage stores during this timeframe.

There have been no consumer reports of injury, but the power bank can overheat and conceivably pose a fire risk. The voluntary recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada.
