This recall involves Lucid Platform Beds manufactured between 2019 and 2021. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), CVB, Inc. issued a voluntary recall of the Lucid Platform Bed with an upholstered square tufted headboard in Twin, Full, Queen, King and Cal-King sizes. They were sold in beige, black, charcoal, cobalt, pearl, and stone colors. The recalled beds have wooden support beams and wooden support legs and a white federal law label with “Made For: CVB INC, 1525 W 2960 S, LOGAN, UT 84321” printed on it (herein the “Affected Products”). The federal law label is located on the backside of the headboard.

Important Product Recall: In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), MGA Entertainment issued a voluntary recall of unused MGA’s Miniverse Make It Mini products that contain a resin used to assemble the products. These include “Make It Mini Appliances,” all models and series of “Make It Mini Food”, and “Make It Mini Lifestyle.” This voluntary recall is only for products that are unused as once the resin has been cured and hardened, the chemicals in question become inert and pose no risk.

Hazard: The recalled Make It Mini Sets contain resins that when in liquid form can cause skin, eye and respiratory irritation or sensitization when inhaled, touched, or ingested by children or adults. After the resins cure, they no longer present these hazards. These resins contain acrylates (hydroxyethylmethacrylate or “HEMA” and isobornyl acrylate or “IBOA”) in amounts that, per CPSC, are prohibited in children’s products by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. MGA Entertainment received only 26 consumer reported incidents regarding resin irritation out of 21 million units sold (.000013%) and all the incidents have been non-serious and temporary.

Hazard: Through their rigorous and ongoing quality-inspection program, Vitamix has identified a potential safety issue. It is possible that the container may separate from the blade base, exposing the blades and posing a laceration hazard.
