When you place an order on macys.com, you will receive email updates concerning your order status.
Order confirmation email
Within an hour after placing an order on macys.com, you will receive an email confirmation which includes:
Price of each item
Order confirmation emails not received within an hour
If you don’t receive an order confirmation email within an hour:
Check your spam folder
in your macys.com account
If you don’t find your order confirmation email in your spam or inbox folders within an hour, please allow 24 hours for your order to process. Once it's processed, you’ll receive your order confirmation email.
Shipping confirmation email
You'll receive a confirmation email after each shipment leaves our warehouse with shipment details and your tracking number. Your order may ship within separate boxes and might be delivered on different dates.
Each shipping confirmation email will provide information on merchandise that has already been shipped or has not been shipped yet.
Merchandise on backorder
You’ll receive a detailed email if your merchandise temporarily becomes on backorder with the manufacturer or vendor. This email will include a new expected ship date, if it’s available. If the expected shipping date is greater than 30 days or has changed twice, the email will also include instructions on how to accept or decline the backorder date.
Please note: For these cases, Federal Trade Commission rules require that you contact Macy's within 30 days of the original ship date to avoid cancellation.
Macy’s Beauty Box subscriptions
Order status notifications for items ordered on macys.com may not apply to Macy’s Beauty Box subscriptions. Beauty Boxes are typically shipped the middle of the month and you can expect to receive your box around the third week of the month.
