What are Lists and how do they work?











The benefits of having Lists

There are many benefits to utilizing Lists when you have a Macy's account.



  • Keep Lists for as long as you want - they never expire
  • Share Lists with friends and family
  • Create Lists for all your events: birthdays, weddings, baby showers, back-to-school needs, holiday wish lists, and more
  • Access your Lists from any device, anywhere
  • Make your Lists searchable with the Find a List search function
  • Mark items in a Top Picks List to keep a close eye on them
  • Sort Lists by most recently added, price, top rated, or your top picks
  • Manage, rename, and delete your Lists at any time
  • Receive price alerts when your listed items go on sale



Finding Lists

From your computer, select the Lists link at the top of the macys.com homepage, or sign in to your account and select Lists from the top right dropdown menu on the homepage.



From your mobile device, select Lists from the top left dropdown menu on the homepage.



If you don't have a Macy's account, you can create a guest List. These only last for 30 days on the device you used to create them. To save lists longer than 30 days, be sure to create an account .








Adding items to Lists

You can add items to your Lists a few different ways:



  • Select the Add to List button on any product page
  • Select the Move to List link in your Shopping Bag to move the item from your Bag to one of your Lists





Sharing your Lists with others

In order to share your Lists with others, you must have a Macy's account. Sign in or create an account to get started.



From your computer, once you've chosen the List you want to share:



  • Select the Settings link
  • Select the Make This List Searchable box, then select the Save button
  • Select the email icon on the top right side
  • Enter email addresses of friends and/or family and select the Email This List button, or copy the link provided to send an email from your personal account
  • You can also share your list by selecting the Facebook or Twitter icons


From your mobile device, once you've chosen the List you want to share:



  • Select the Settings icon on the top right side
  • Select the Make This List Searchable box, then select the Save button
  • Select the Share icon on the top right side, then select Share By Email
  • Enter email addresses of friends and/or family and send the email from your personal account
  • You can also share your List by selecting Share on Facebook or Share on Twitter





Making your Lists public so others can find them

Once you've chosen the List you want to share:



  • If you're using a computer, select the Settings link; if you're using a mobile device, select the Settings icon
  • Select the Make This List Searchable box, then select the Save button





Finding someone else's List

You can use the Find a List search function to find public Lists that others have created.










Renaming or deleting your List

Once you've chosen the list you want to rename or delete:



  • If you're using a computer, select the Settings link; if you're using a mobile device, select the Settings icon
  • To rename your List, select the box below "List Name" and type in the new name for your List, then select the Save button
  • To delete your List, select the Delete This List link, then reconfirm by selecting the Delete button.





List availability in stores

The only way to access your Lists from a Macy's store is to sign in to your macys.com account using your mobile device.
