How to Manage My Macys Credit Card
Managing my Bill
    • Select "My Account".
    • Select "Macy’s Credit Card".
    • Select the "Make A Payment" button.
    • Select your "payment amount", "payment date", and "payment source", then select the "Continue" button.
    • On the next screen, verify your information and select the "Authorize" button.

    Please note: Payments may take up to 3 days to appear on your account. At this time, debit cards are not accepted for online payments.

  • You may schedule only 1 payment to an account on any particular day. You may edit the amount of a scheduled payment at any time before 11:59 PM ET the day before the payment is scheduled. Payments may be made for an amount less than or equal to the current balance.


    You may schedule no more than 5 individual online payments to an account during a single billing period.

  • Here you can view your statement balance, minimum payment due, and payment due date, as well as other information related to your Macy's account.

    Once you’ve added your Macy’s Credit Card to your account and you’re signed in:

    • Hover over your name.
    • Select "Macy’s Credit Card".
    • Select the "Statements & Recent Activity" button.
    • In the "Download Statements" section, choose the date and format of the statement you want to view or print, then select the "Download" button.

    Select the PDF option for an image that resembles a traditional statement. You can view and print up to 12 consecutive months of statements online. To request a copy of statements older than 12 months, contact Credit Customer Service at 1-888-257-6757 (TTY: 711) 9:00 AM - 12:00 AM ET, 7 days a week.

  • How to Enroll:

    You can schedule automatic payments for your Macy's Credit Card in any amount you choose. Payment will be processed on your payment due date each month your account has a balance. To set up AutoPay:

    • Select "Macy's Credit Card" and "sign in" to your account.
    • Select "Enroll in AutoPay" link.

    If you don't have a payment source set up, you'll be prompted to enter your bank account number and routing number. Debit cards can't be used for AutoPay.



    How to Cancel or Edit a Payment:

    To cancel or edit an AutoPay or a one-time payment, you will need to access your Macy's credit account:

    • Select "Macy's Credit Card" and log into your account with your email address and password.
    • Select the "Manage AutoPay" link below the "Make a Payment" box.


    You can review your scheduled payments in the Upcoming Payments section. Click the plus sign for any scheduled payment to reveal the full payment details and to edit or delete as necessary.

  • To turn off your paper statements, you'll need to add your Macy's Credit Card or Macy's American Express Card® to your macys.com profile.


    1. Select " My Account " on the top right side of macys.com and log into your account with your email address and password.
    2. In the same area of macys.com, hover over your name and click "My Account".
    3. Select the "Credit Summary" link under the "Macy's Credit Card" section.
    4. Select the "Manage Account" option from the black bar at the top of your page.
    5. Then choose the "Paperless Settings" option.
    6. Here you can enroll in Paperless Statements and Letters.
  • To Pay by Phone:

    When you call, please have your Macy's account number and valid information about your deposit account at a U.S. bank.

    To Pay In-store:

    Use cash, check, debit card or money order to pay your bill at any Macy's store.


  • Promotional financing events differ interest charges for a specific time frame and are offered for larger purchases. If a promotional balance is not paid in full by the end of the specified time frame, deferred interest will be charged for the amount of interest accrued throughout the plan period. Promotions cannot be extended. To avoid interest charges you must pay above the minimum payment due to pay off the balance before the promotion period ends.


    Payments made in excess of the minimum due are applied in accordance with law going to higher APR balances first, unless you advise us to allocate your payments otherwise.


    If you would like excess payments applied to your promotional balance, you must contact us by calling the phone number on the back of your card and specify that.


    Excess payments made within the last two billing cycles of an expiring promotional period will be applied to the promotional balance first. If the Special Event promotion expires before the payment due date in the billing cycle, then the excess payment(s) will be applied to the promotional balance within the last three billing cycles of the promotional period.


  • We have the right to charge you a $30 returned payment fee if you have a Returned Payment.


    If you have a Returned Payment, we’ll resubmit the payment request. If you have another Returned Payment within 6 consecutive Billing Cycles, the returned payment fee will go up to $41.


    The amount of your returned payment fee will not exceed the amount permitted by law.


Managing my Card
    1. Select My Account and sign in.
    2. Select the "Add My Card" button under the Macy's Credit Card section.
    3. Complete the form, then select "Add Card".
    4. Set up your security questions, then select "Next".

  • To check your credit limit or available credit amount, you'll need to add your Macy's Credit Card or Macy's American Express® Card to your macys.com profile. Once your card is added:

    • Select "My Account" and Sign In
    • Select "Macy's Credit Card"
    • Here you will find your current balance, available credit amount and credit limit


    To request a credit limit increase on your Macy's Credit Card or your Macy's American Express® Card, you will need to know your annual income, residential status and monthly mortgage or rent payment. Then follow the steps below.



    For computer users:

    • Select "My Account" and Sign In.
    • Select "Macy’s Credit Card".
    • Select "Request a Credit Limit Increase".
    • Provide the required information then submit your request.


    From the Macy's App:

    • Select "My Account" and Sign In.
    • Select "Macy’s Card", then "Credit Summary".
    • Scroll down, then select "Show More".
    • Under Credit Limit select "Request Increase".
    • Provide the required information then submit your request.


    Once your request has been reviewed, we'll notify you with the outcome. You'll also be notified if we need more information to complete your application.


    Please note: If a joint account holder is under the age of 21, that person cannot request a credit limit increase without the primary account holder's consent.


    You can also request a credit limit increase by calling Customer Service at 1-888-257-6757 (TTY: 711) during our business hours: Mon-Sun: 10AM-10PM ET.


    If you’re in Canada or Puerto Rico, or outside the U.S., call collect at 1-727-556-5758 (TTY: 711).


  • To add an authorized buyer to your Macy's Credit Card, contact Customer Service at 1-888-257-6757 (TTY: 711) during our business hours: 9:00 AM - 12:00 AM ET, 7 days a week.

    It is important to note that authorized buyers must be added by phone for added security.


  • If you received an error message that said, "The information you entered does not match our records, please try again. For your protection, we cannot specify which field is incorrect. Suppose you have already attempted to reenter your information and are still having difficulties. In that case, your account may be subject to a 24-hour lockout," then please check your Macy's statement or card and make sure you enter your name exactly as it appears there.
