If you have a macys.com account, save the credit card(s) that you use to make your Macy's store purchases to your Wallet. To view your store purchases dating back to October 12, 2018:

Note: Some Macy's store locations are required by local laws to charge a nominal bag fee for merchandise bags provided at the customer’s request for in-store or pickup purchases. If you don’t want to pay this fee, you’re welcome to bring your own bag/tote to the store.
Store purchases shown in your purchase history
Once the credit card you use to make store purchases with is saved to your Wallet, you'll see those purchases in your Purchase History, even if you use that credit card along with cash, gift cards, Star Money, or another credit card.
Types of store purchases not shown in your purchase history
Most furniture and mattress orders, as well as orders placed in store for shipment by a Store Colleague, are not currently available to view in your Purchase History.
Looking up your store returns
Purchase History is a summary of your purchases and returns. As long as the credit card you used to make your store purchases is saved in your Wallet, you'll be able to see items returned at a Macy's store dating back to October 12, 2018.
Your purchase history vs. the information on your store receipt
The information displayed on the receipt you receive in-store includes full details of your entire transaction. The information displayed in your Purchase History is a summary of the transaction, including items purchased and returned.
Making a return in-store for an online purchase
If you return an item in store that you originally purchased online, that return will be displayed in your Purchase History for both your online orders and your store purchases.
