Create & Manage Your Registry
Setting Up Your Registry
  • If you have already created a macys.com profile, the following steps will guide you in creating your registry. (If you have not yet created a profile, you can do so Click here.

    1. Click here to create your registry.
    2. From this page, you can click "Get Started" to create your registry OR "Link Store Registry" if you started your registry in a Macy's store with a Macy’s colleague
    3. Enter the email address and password you created for your macys.com account
    4. Enter your event details
    5. Click "Register"

  • To add items to your gift registry:

    • Sign into your gift registry
    • Select a category
    • Select a product
    • Click "Add To Registry"


    To edit/delete items on your gift registry:

    • Sign in to your gift registry
    • Select “Your Gifts”
    • Enter the new quantity in the “Still Need” column or the “Remove Item” link to delete the item
    • Click “Save Changes”

    • Sign into your Macy’s profile, and click “Gift Registry” in the Top Right Corner on macys.com
    • Or access your registry on our Macy’s app by signing into your Macy’s profile, in the bottom right-hand corner click your name
    • Click on “Manage Your Registry

  • We make registering easy; our gift calculator helps the registrant decide how many gifts to put on their gift registry based on the number of guests attending the occasion.

  • To add items to your registry online, please sign in to your registry online.

    • Sign into your registry
    • Select a "Category"
    • Select a "Product "
    • Click “Add To Registry

    When shopping in-store, you can use the Macy's Mobile App to add items to your registry with your smartphone:

    • Download the Macy's Mobile App from your digital store
    • In the bottom right-hand corner, click on your name
    • Click on "Manage Your Registry"
    • When you are in your registry, click on "Scan to Add Gifts"
    • Browse gift options if you are shopping on the go
    • Scan barcode options if you are shopping in the store

  • Due to promotional activity, prices will change and may be different from the time you registered to the time gifts were purchased.

  • If an item is available to add to your registry, you will see the “Add to Registry” button on the product detail page under the red "Add To Bag"button.

    Due to circumstances such as product recall, discontinued products, and limited inventory some items may not be available to add to a gift registry.

  • In order to sync to a universal registry, your Macy’s registry must be set to Public so that it can be identified.

  • At this time, a registry cannot be created for our customers with an international address. If your shipping address is within the U.S. or its territories, however, you are welcome to create a registry with us.

  • Reference The “ Gift Tracker” Tab under your registry to see the latest shipping & tracking updates on your gifts for your registry

    There are several reasons why an item may show as purchased but you have yet to receive it:

    • The item was recently purchased and shipped and is still in transit
    • Your guest may not have had a chance to deliver the item(s) to you
    • The item is on backorder and has yet to ship
    • The item may have been returned

  • Your registry will be available in stores and online for 13 months after your occasion or 13 months from the last date of activity on the registry, whichever occurs last.

  • The return timeframe for gift registry returns are calculated from the event date:

    • If the item was purchased prior to the occasion or event date, items may be exchanged or returned (with receipt) 90 days from the event date
    • If the item was purchased after the occasion or event date, items may be exchanged or returned (with receipt) 90 days from the purchase date

  • Sign in to your registry to view the “Gift Tracker” tab where you can view the gifts you received and thank-you notes you have sent

    • Wedding registrants with the Macy’s Completion Discount Program, you’ll receive a 10-20% discount on most remaining items on your registry and a 10% discount on furniture, mattresses & rugs for 180 days after your occasion.

    • Baby registrants with the Macy’s Completion Discount Program, you’ll receive a 10% discount on select remaining items on your registry 60 days prior to the arrival date of your little one and 180 days after your occasion.

    Macy's will load a promo code to your Macy’s Online Wallet that can be applied to online purchases. When shopping in stores, you can access your completion discount by signing into your registry and clicking the completion banner. Make sure to advise the in-store employee that you are registered with Macy’s before checking out.

    Offer is not transferrable and cannot be combined with any savings pass/coupon offers. No adjustments can be made on prior purchases or returned and repurchased merchandise. Offer will appear in your Macy’s Wallet if set up. Exclusions are subject to change
